today

i moved all my sewing stuff… again. this will be the 3rd or 4th time in like 2 months. i like where i moved everything. it’s a corner where my table is situated so i can look out the window or watch tv. and the move was so overwhelming since i had such a mess before moving that i was wiped out and only did sewing before the move. i made a kitchen mat to go near the sink and a half assed pot holder. after i made it, i realized i should’ve sandwiched an old towel in between for more insulation. also the kitchen mat is a little slippery on the linoleum floor, so i am prob going to sewing on some type of fabric for a non slip backing. the kitchen mat was inspired by several ladies… little birds,all buttoned up,soulemama. i don’t know why i hadn’t thought of doing this before??? i am going to make a couple of mats using sometype of orange and yellow fabric for the main bathroom and probably one for Drew’s bathroom, if he wants one… i guess i should ask him i will take pics tomorrow in the daylight of everything i made today… oh also, i made two pincushions… i’ll take pics tomorrow of those two. i spent the rest of my evening listening to music on classic r&b and classic rock on music choice, and rock fest on VH-1. man they played an old video of the Rolling Stones which reminded of why i liked them so much when i was in high school. and also a Neil Young clip… everytime i see him play the guitar, i just feel love! and some Misty Mountain Hop *Zep Forever*! also heard some Bootzilla (woohoo) i was shaking my ass! hahahahahaha some Slave ~ Slide… yeah, *slide… slide… * and then i went to myspace to hear some Rock Creek Park by the Blackbyrds… *doin it in the park, doin it after dark… oh yeah, in rock creek park…* man, memories… so now i am going to go chill on the couch and think of what i am going to work on tomorrow *visions of pin cushions dancing in my head*
